Hi everyone, this week we had a power packed program. The first hour was dedicated to the Charanga. On this part 1, the emphasis was on the classic Charanga music from Cuba: Arcaño y Sus Maravillas, Aragon, Enrique Jorrin, Belisario Lopez, Sensacion with Abelardo Barroso were among other greats that were featured. The Six at 6 pm segment was devoted to “El Poeta De La Salsa”…the great Ruben Blades featuring a six song retrospective of some of his greatest hits and memorable songs.
