here is the playlist for the Con Sabor program that was broadcast on KPFA 94.1 FM this past Saturday evening from 9 to 11 pm. I paid tribute to the late Frankie Lebron of the Lebron Brothers who passed away late last week. New music from Gilberto Santa Rosa, Tromboranga, Edwin Perez, The Cabanijazz Project, El Noro, Edgardo Cambon, the John Santos Sextet, Bobi Cespedes, Key Elements and Carol Welsman with Juan Luis Guerra were also featured.

I also paid a 94th birthday tribute to Rafael Ithier (pictured left), the pianist and founder of Puerto Rico’s iconic orchestra El Gran Combo now enjoying 58 years in show business on our Six at 6 (pm) segment.
