Bululú at 3rd Annual Bay Area Latin Jazz Fest Sat.

Bululú (pictured left) is a dynamic Latin music ensemble led by Venezuelan born percussionist and composer Lali Mejia showcases a lively repertoire deeply rooted in Venezuelan and Caribbean influences.  Their latest recordings such as “Amigos Isleños” and “Eldita Y Su Sa(Son)” showcases their range of music styles including calypso, salsa, sones, porros, cumbias, merengues, tambores de la costa and moreBululú’s uplifting performances showcases their original compositions with veteran top-notch personnel from the San Francisco Bay Area. This seasoned band often sells out their performances and have kept the interest in Venezuelan music alive and well.

Bululú will be part of this coming 3rd Annual Bay Area Latin Jazz Festival taking place at Rowell Ranch, 9725 Dublin Canyon Road in Castro Valley on Saturday, August 20th.   Bululú will be opening the festival starting at 11 am.  They are an act that’s not to be missed!
