I also paid a 94th birthday tribute to Rafael Ithier (pictured left), the legendary pianist and founder of Puerto Rico’s iconic orchestra El Gran Combo now enjoying 58 years in show business on our Six at 6 (pm) segment. I also included 2 bonus EGC tracks (due to the enormous repertoire that this legendary band has in Salsa…plus 6 EGC tunes weren’t enough!!
