Tonight, Tuesday, February 13th is Fat Tuesday known worldwide from it’s origins in the Mardi Gras of New Orleans. Carnaval San Francisco has made it a home town tradition to celebrate Mardi Gras time with a free bacchanal of live music in various venues in the SF Mission District from 5 to 10 pm. Participating this year will be venues such as Bissap.Baobab, Kimbara, Cha Cha Cha, Arcana and the 24th Street BART plaza happenings also featuring Jaguars Of Fire, MCCLA Showcase, Mixtiso, Le Cumbianita Colombiana and ending with San Pancho starting at 7 PM.
