Anthony Blea..Celebrating the SF Violin Virtuoso!

This home-grown violin virtuoso’s numerous credits since starting his career as a teenager include his work with Tipica Cienfuegos, Orquesta Batachanga, John Santos and the Machete Ensemble, Cachao, Son Primero, Charanga 76, the Musical Art Quartet, Los Bros and many others.

One of the young virtuosos of Cuban Jazz piano, Harold Lopez-Nussa will be bringing his quartet to Berkeley’s Freight and Salvage, 2020 Addison Street this Thursday, October 28 at 8 pm. Lopez-Nussa put out a hot recording “Te Lo Dice’ on Mack Avenue last year that featured his jazzed up versions of Cuban dance music including “JazzTon” that mixed Reggaeton with Jazz!
