The 66th SF International Film Festival-Weekend screenings and Special Presentations
The 66th San Francisco International Film Festival is going strong with a slew of new local, national and international narrative, documentary and short films now through Sunday, April 23rd at various venues. Festival features such as Cine Latino, The Sloan Science On Screen Award Series and special premieres such as the new documentary on folk music icon Joan Baez “I Am A Noise” to be screened this Tuesday, April 18, 5 pm at the Castro Theater. Baez will be in attendance.

The opening night of the 66th San Francisco International Film Festival at Oakland’s Grand Lake Theatre was a triumph with the screening of director Peter Nicks documentary on Basketball superstar and one of the most influential players in NBA history, Stephen Curry of our own Golden State Warriors.

The San Francisco International Film Festival starts this coming Thursday, April 13th and will run until the 23rd. 10 days of new narrative films, documentaries, special tributes and shorts kicks off with the opening night screening of “Stephen Curry: Underrated” by Emmy award winning director Peter Nicks at Oakland’s Grand Lake Theatre this Thursday evening.
