Con Sabor Playlist 3/13/2021

Tonight, we paid tribute to the late, great Cuban rumbero/composer Raul Brito “Lali” (pictured left in Havana Jan 2018. Photo: Luis Medina) of the seminal Cuban rumba group “Clave Y Guaguanco” who died of a heart attack earlier this month. Lali’s music has been played by artists such as Septeto Nacional De Ignacio Pineiro to John Santos and the Coro Folklorico Kindembo. Lali was an exceptional human being with a big heart and radiant smile as well as a great singer and percussionist. I gave a musical tribute to Lali this evening…RIP. New music was featured by vocalist Kayvan Vega, Javier Fernandez Big Band, Oscar Ly and Rumble, Hector Valentin, Timbalive, Paquito Acosta, the Leandro Saint-Hill Quartet, Oscar Hernandez & Alma Libre, Orquesta Fuego and Conjunto Imagen.
